The music industry employs a wide variety of entry-level positions, from those on stage to those behind the scenes. Some entry-level music positions fulfill production and sound engineering duties at a studio or record network. Working for an agency or other music-related companies as an assistant or associate in booking, production, licensing, and marketing for artists and bands is also a possibility. There are also technician jobs where you handle audio responsibilities and set up for shows or concerts. Alternatively, you can become a musician, either as a solo singer or as part of a band, or teach music writing and song composition as an entry-level instructor.
