Job Description

Position: Financial Analyst

Duration: 3+ Months

Location: Hickory, NC

Direct client: Immediate interview Finance Associate

Manager wants to send the selected candidate to training in NY

Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Some travel to NY will be required for training in the first week of this position.

The role will primarily support the team with annual budget plan, focusing on department level detail spend of operating expenses and assisting with financial analysis and support revolving around the budget plan.

Additionally, this individual may be involved in various projects revolving around process improvement, analysis, and/or creating more efficient way to gathering and analyzing the data.

The role will work with various stakeholders and partners around the world.

The position may take on projects around process improvement and/or assisting in development of new processes.

Required Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of accounting and financial statement relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Focused on timeliness and accuracy
  • Strong partnership focus
  • Well organized and be able to handle conflicting priorities.
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree is required (Preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics).

Desired Skills:

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access Database
  • Proficiency in People Soft, SAP, and Khalix a plus
