Role: Legal Assistant (Entry-Level)

I seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join my team. This entry-level role provides essential administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including the preparation of legal documents, schedule management, and general office administration. A key component of this position includes handling administrative tasks and monthly billing.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Document Support: Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and motions.
  • Scheduling: Manage attorney schedules and coordinate meetings with clients.
  • File Management: Maintain case files and ensure all documentation is organized and up-to-date.
  • Office Administration: Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide general administrative support as needed.
  • Communication: Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Correspondence: Must be highly proficient in email correspondence.
  • Requirements & Skills:
  • Typing Speed: A typing speed of 55 WPM is required.
  • Reading Comprehension: Must be able to read cursive handwriting.
  • Education: Some college experience is preferred.
  • Office Experience: Prior experience in an office environment is required.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
