Job description

Connected Logistics is seeking an Application Developer to add to our Information Technology Support Services team in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) at the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Responsibilities Include: Design and develop high-quality, scalable software applications using various programming languages and technologies
Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Debug and resolve software defects
Maintain and improve existing applications
Conduct thorough testing to ensure application performance and reliability
Implement security best practices in application development
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends Requirements
Knowledge and Skills Required Public Trust or eligible.
Must be able to write SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery, jQuery plug-ins, and various other 3rd party JavaScript libraries), Must be capable of writing client and web-based applications using Classic ASP, ASP.NET, Visual Basic .NET, C#, and Microsoft Access.
Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
Skill in working independently, multitasking, prioritizing projects, and meeting deadlines.
Skill in using analytical and research skills in the performance of job duties.
Demonstrate high-end customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
