Job description

In this unique position, we are seeking a qualified candidate who has professional ophthalmology experience, Medical Call Center Scheduling experience. This position does require you to come in to the office in Southlake.

Medical Call Center Scheduling – Responsible for maintaining Call Center duties for the clinical practice which includes but not limited to answering inbound phone calls, scheduling appointments, medical insurance entry and knowledge, insurance authorizations and additional duties as required.

Experience:

*A minimum of one or more years of medical call center scheduling; medical practice preferred.

*Experience within Ophthalmology Medical Practice a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication both internally and externally.

Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office and ability to navigate internal timekeeping and IT systems.

Prior knowledge of Nextgen Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management a Plus!

Ability to prioritize, organize, be detailed and multi-task.

Given call volume and necessary information requirements, speed and accuracy is a must.
