Job description

Position Title: Quality & Compliance Associate (Manufacturing – Entry Level)

Location: Martinsville, VA (Primary Site)

Candidates based in VA/NC preferred (Durham, Raleigh, Danville, Roanoke)

Hybrid with periodic on-site presence required

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Quality & Compliance Associate to support the development of our U.S. manufacturing and distribution operations.

This role is ideal for someone who is interested in quality systems, compliance, and process improvement, and who is looking to grow within the medical device or manufacturing industry.

You will be involved in building foundational quality processes from the ground up and supporting future regulatory and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Quality & Process Support

- Assist in developing and maintaining basic quality control procedures

- Support inspection of incoming and outgoing goods (basic QA/QC checks)

- Help document and organize quality-related records and reports

Compliance & Documentation

- Support preparation and organization of SOPs and operational procedures

- Assist in maintaining documentation aligned with regulatory expectations

- Track and maintain records for audits and internal reviews

Operational Coordination

- Work with operations and warehouse teams to ensure process consistency

- Assist in identifying process improvements and standardization opportunities

- Support onboarding of future processes as the facility grows

Growth & Development

- Learn and support quality systems relevant to medical devices (FDA-related exposure)

- Participate in building quality infrastructure for future manufacturing operations

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Life Sciences, Engineering, Healthcare, or related field)

- 0–3 years of experience in QA/QC, manufacturing, or related environment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Interest in quality systems, compliance, or manufacturing processes

- Ability to follow structured processes and documentation standards

- Self-motivated and willing to learn in a developing environment

Preferred (Not Required):

- Exposure to medical device, healthcare, or regulated industries

- Familiarity with SOPs, documentation, or quality systems

- Experience working in manufacturing or warehouse environments

Compensation

- $45,000 – $60,000 annually
