In this role, you may learn more about your company's operating territory, learn how to demonstrate the use of each product you sell, and practice giving presentations to doctors and other medical workers. You may also visit a hospital, follow up on leads, and otherwise help rep your company wherever needed. Many medical device sales representatives work in or near operating rooms and other surgical areas, both to sell products during procedures and provide expert guidance for their installation, modification, and configuration. As such, this job sometimes requires the ability to tolerate seeing blood and injuries.
