Job description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collects lab samples, performs venipunctures, and conducts ECGs to support diagnostic procedures
  • Takes and records vital signs, prepares patients for exams, and facilitates clinical procedures to ensure quality patient care
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and healthcare regulations
  • Supports reception and check-out areas by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and updating patient records
  • Ensures student immunization compliance by reviewing medical documentation and updating records accordingly
  • Contributes to a collaborative healthcare environment by coordinating with medical staff and optimizing operational efficiency
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Knowledge of clinical procedures such as venipunctures, ECGs, and vital sign measurements
  • Knowledge of medical recordkeeping practices, confidentiality regulations, and healthcare documentation
  • Skill in collecting lab samples, performing diagnostic procedures, and preparing patients for exams
  • Skill in managing reception tasks, scheduling appointments, and verifying patient insurance information
  • Ability to maintain compliance with student immunization requirements and update records accordingly
