Morris Multimedia, Inc, parent company of Morris Newspaper Corporation and Morris Television Network, is one of the largest, privately held media companies in the U.S.Morris Network acquired its first television station in 1979 with the purchase of WMGT- TV, an NBC affiliate in Macon, GA.  Today, Morris Network owns and operates sixteen CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, CW, and My Network affiliated television stations as well as ten other digital affiliated stations which include Bounce, Escape, LAFF, The Justice Network, and Quest TV in Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee.Headquartered in the historic Oliver Sturges House in Savannah Georgia, Morris Multimedia, Inc. continues to grow and build on its reputation as a leader in community journalism.

Job Description

The position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor. This is an entry level hourly position with the primary responsibility of providing telephone support to customers regarding their account activity

In this position, the employee will need to be proficient using several software applications including LoanServ, Unifi, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook. On-the-job training will be provided, but the employee will need to become proficient utilizing these applications quickly.

Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Telephone support for customers - counsel customers regarding loan accounts
  • Document conversations with customers and actions taken
  • Process customer payments via phone
  • Process customer account maintenance requests
  • Review and note accounts for customer correspondence as required
  • Miscellaneous projects as assigned

General Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under stressful conditions
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
  • Capable of working in a team environment
  • MS Office experience
  • Able to pass background check and hair-follicle drug screen
