As a Signage Production Specialist, you'll work with a creative and motivated team to fabricate high-quality signs using a variety of tools, materials, and production techniques. Daily tasks include cutting, painting, taping, assembling acrylic signage, and assisting with field installations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in precision, and is eager to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where attention to detail is essential.
Schedule: Monday through Friday working 530AM to 2PM at Banner Desert Medical Center.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position, under the guidance of Facilities Operations leadership, is responsible for the production, manufacturing, and installation of signage, banners and large print media. This position involves interaction with computer software to operate equipment used in production and manufacturing.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Produces signage and print media to customer specification ensuring compliance with Banner's design and branding guidelines.
2. Executes production of signage from start to finish based on work orders or design documents, overseeing set-up, production, and quality assurance.
3. Coordinates and execute multiple signage projects concurrently meeting approved schedules and timelines.
4. Installs signage in accordance with Banner design and branding requirements, ADA, and other regulatory standards.
5. Uses the Banner work order system to receive and complete tasks. Ensure tasks are completed according to allocated labor hours and materials, to accurately align with chargebacks to customers.
6. Uses signage production equipment including drills, saws, laser equipment, vinyl cutters, routers, hand tools, large format printers and other tools typically found in signage production.
7. Provides direct mentorship and training to technician entry level team members learning signage and print media manufacturing process.
8. Keeps sign production area clean and orderly, manage waste disposal efficiently, organize tools and materials, and perform basic equipment maintenance like cleaning and adjustments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires knowledge typically associated with 3 years or more signage and print production experience. Experience meeting scheduled deadlines for signage projects, and using signage production software, industrial signage printers, cutters, lasers, printers and other tools typically found in the production of signage and print media. Requires computer skills and ability to use computer-controlled signage production equipment. Proficiency in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and simple math calculations. Ability to organize, schedule, and manage multiple signage projects and requests simultaneously using the appropriate tools.
Facilities or departments, depending on business need, may require proof or a valid driver's license and eligibility for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Vocational, Technical or Apprenticeship training preferred. Previous healthcare facilities services experience preferred.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
