Our client is a dynamic manufacturing and engineering company specializing in metal, plastic and rubber fastening systems and they are looking to add a Sales Engineer to their team. The Sales Engineer will manage projects/customer from supporting design development to production launch internally and externally. This is an excellent entry level/mid-level Account Manager position with a Global company


Sale Engineer Requirements:

  • Project Management
  • Ability to read 2D/3D drawings
  • Ability to use and understand CAD equipment and software – SolidWorks / Adobe Graphics is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic technical knowledge; metal, plastic and rubber fastening systems
  • Ability to travel to customer and supplier site
  • Has a passport


Sale Engineer Description:

  • Coordinating efforts between client and end user customer (OEM or Large Tier)
  • Analyze engineering sketches, drawings, specifications and related data to determine design factors such as size, shape and arrangement
  • Must have excellent systematic organizational skills to manage projects
  • Provide customer with product application support/recommendations, with engineering support, from inception through production for new and existing product design
  • Must have knowledge concerning material, process, tooling, product and cost
  • Must also be able to prepare marketing materials and update design materials used by sales team to promote products
  • Work alongside existing Senior Account Manager to assist, participate in sales and general design reviews to learn and work with the current customer base and design process and grow into running and managing your own responsible customer accounts
  • Must be a motivated self-starter
