Compensation Analyst I
Labcorp is seeking a hybrid Compensation Analyst I to join our team in 10 Moore Drive, Durham, NC.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm (Eastern Time Zone)
This schedule includes a minimum of three in-office days per week and two days working remotely, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the administration and delivery of compensation programs
  • Participate in the annual global compensation salary survey process
  • Conduct job evaluations and market pricing
  • Respond to compensation inquiries, ensuring on time delivery to HR and the business, adhering to high service levels and SLA requirements
  • Support the development of salary increase proposals and promotions through data-driven analysis.
  • Assist with research and analysis of compensation and reward programs
  • Ensure compensation practices are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across all countries
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to support compensation programs and practices
  • Provide support in the administration of salary planning, merit planning, and incentive programs
  • Approve job/compensation-related actions in Workday
  • Prepare compensation reporting and analyses
  • Assist and support compensation-related projects, processes, and audits as needed

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year of related experience in a HR, Finance, or analytical data-focused role

Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree
  • 1 year experience with HRIS Systems (ideally Workday), including running queries, accessing and manipulating data
  • 1 year experience with job analysis and job evaluation.

Additional Job Standards:
  • Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; presentation Fluency in English required,
  • Desire to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive data and maintain confidentiality.

The Compensation Analyst is an entry level compensation role responsible for transactional compensation actions and analytics, including requests from TA, HR, and the business. In this role, the incumbent will participate in salary surveys, job evaluations, and analytical assignments involving the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs.
All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
