Job description
General Responsibilities:
- Assists the sales team with leads, group detailing, site tours
- Coordinate the sales team by managing room blocks, groups, and schedules, distributes BEO's, group billing, organize filing, and communicating relevant information
- Respond to client needs throughout the sales process
- Coordinate with other departments as necessary
- Responsible for sales office coverage
- Provide administrative support to the sales team including, but not limited to, answering phones, correspondence, assigning activities, assisting in site tours and reports, room blocks
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of sales-related material, including room block billing
- Must be able to show initiative including guests and operation needs
- Prepare written correspondence, group resume, weekly BEO's and reports and other reports as requested by the sales team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous related experience, Hilton and Marriott preferred
- Previous Customer Service a plus
- Organized, strong ability to multi-task, detail-oriented
- Energetic and Highly Personable
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to compile, analyze and communicate data
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to deal with difficult guests and solve problems
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Excellent Time Management
- Familiar with common computer software programs; ability to learn new computer software programs
- Ability to worked varied hours, based on business needs
