What is an entry level marine HVAC technician?

Entry level marine HVAC jobs involve assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems on ships, boats, and other marine vessels. Workers in these positions typically perform basic tasks under the supervision of experienced technicians, helping ensure climate control and air quality in marine environments. Responsibilities may include cleaning components, checking refrigerant levels, and learning to diagnose simple system issues. These roles are a starting point for a career in marine HVAC, offering hands-on experience and opportunities for advancement.
