Coke Florida is looking for a Supervisors, Building Facilities Engineer that will be based out of our Tampa area offices.
What You Will Do:
The Supervisor, Building Facilities Engineer, is responsible for reliable operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of building systems across assigned facilities. This role combines hands-on technical expertise and operational leadership, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and safety systems operate effectively and in compliance with regulatory standards.
As the Supervisor, you will oversee the facilities engineers who are assigned to designated territories and are accountable for preventative maintenance programs, vendor coordination, safety compliance and day-to-day facility operations and maintenance
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operation, maintenance and repair of all facility systems including, but not limited to:

  • HVAC systems (rooftop units, air handling units and cooling systems)

  • Electrical distribution systems

  • Plumbing and water systems

  • Life safety and fire protection systems
  • Housekeeping
  • Landscaping

  • Ensure maximum uptime, reliability and energy efficiency of building systems

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating or coordinator external support as needed

  • Respond to emergency service calls and after-hour issues (when applicable) to minimize operational disruption

  • Develop, schedule and execute preventative maintenance (PM) programs across all buildings

  • Provide day-to-day direction, coaching and support to maintenance staff

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records and asset documentation

  • Assign work orders and prioritize activities to ensure timely completion and operational continuity

  • Review timesheets, manage overtime and conduct monthly performance reviews (1:1s)

  • Support hiring, onboarding and development of facilities team

  • Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors and service providers, ensuring quality, safety and compliance

  • identify and drive cost optimization programs

  • Service as a site-level safety leading, ensuring compliance with:

  • OSHA regulations

  • Local, state, and deferral codes

  • Coca-Cola Core Operating Requirements (KORE) and company safety standards

Education and skills required
  • High School Diploma

  • 2+ years of leadership experience, to include hire/hiring, performance management and scheduling

  • 5+ years of progressive building operations or facilities engineering experience

  • Demonstrated experience across:

  • HVAC systems (commercial/industrial)

  • Electrical systems

  • Plumbing and life safety systems

  • EPA Certification, preferable Universal

  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs or work order systems

  • Previous experience with:

  • Diagnosing and resolving building systems

  • Prioritization and ability to manage multiple workstreams

  • Leading a team and operating independently

  • Valid driver's license and clean MVR to match Coke Florida standards

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and web-based maintenance tools

Additional skills and education that will strengthen your candidacy:
  • Technical or vocational certification in HVAC, electrical or mechanical systems

  • Experience working in manufacturing/production or distribution environments

  • Additional certifications such as electrical licensing or building operator certification

  • Experience developing capital plans and managing facility budgets
