They must perform their daily tasks and project work in the most cost effective manner while meeting customer needs and ensuring quality and workmanship is held to Hose Master Standards.***PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**** BOM and routings* Customizing BOM’s and routings as needed for custom engineered orders* Assisting with quotation of large volume and OEM inquiries that may require special manufacturing techniques* Product/manufacturing optimization for efficiency and performance* New machine sourcing* Developing and documenting necessary quality layout information for to the quality assurance department on new processes and machines* Demonstrate support for company programs through words and actions.* Resolve product, process and design issues.* Implement process improvements to the design procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.* Perform other duties as assigned.* Recognize other issues and perform necessary duties to correct problems.* Great Mechanical and Technical Aptitude***QUALIFICATIONS*****Education:** Associate or bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering or Business) or demonstrated equivalent through work experience.**Experience:** Strong technical ability and mechanical aptitude, manufacturing experience preferred (Welding, Fabrication, Machining, Production Equipment, and Assembly). Demonstrated project management capability**Skills:** Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, CAD programs).
