Job description

Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company to bring on an entry level Press Operator. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with strong growth potential.
Position: Press Operator
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - occasional Saturdays (overtime)
Temp – to -hire position
Pay: $18/hr
This is an entry level position. Training is provided.
Summary:
We are seeking experienced Press Operators to support high-speed manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in producing secure currency products, requiring strong attention to detail, quality, and adherence to strict procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor printing press machinery

  • Load materials and ensure proper alignment and machine calibration

  • Inspect products during production to maintain quality and consistency

  • Identify defects and remove non-conforming materials

  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and support maintenance efforts

  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation

  • Follow all safety, quality, and security procedures

  • Support packaging and movement of finished products as needed

  • Work collaboratively with production and quality teams

Qualifications:

  • Previous press operating or machine operating experience preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures - required

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications

  • Basic computer and documentation skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift

  • Ability to lift and move materials as needed

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment
