Job description

Your Impact:
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to accurately manage and process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain positive vendor relationships. This is an entry-level position that will allow for growth within the accounting team.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Prepare and execute weekly payment runs
  • Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor inquiries
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency

What It Takes:
  • Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Dynamics 365 preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal partners, in both written and verbal formats
