JOB TITLE: ANODIZE LEVEL I - SANDBLASTER 2nd Shift
JOB SUMMARY
Diamondback Industrial Finishes is currently seeking a motivated and talented individual for our Anodize Department in the Sandblasting position. Our Anodize Department is made up of three different areas. Sandblasting is the entry level position to the department and opportunities for quick advancement are possible and encouraged. We are looking for a highly driven individual to be responsible for completing and managing all aspects of blasting various parts finished by CNC machines. Duties include performing sandblasting operations while cleaning, inspecting and maintaining final product quality in accordance with established procedures.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years' experience operating machinery
  • 1+ years' experience in manufacturing, industrial machine shop, or related work environment

PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and comprehend part prints
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work on a team or independently, provide help/assistance to others

CORE DUTIES
  • Responsible for shoveling or pouring sand, grit, or other abrasive material into the machine, and monitoring and maintaining an adequate supply of the abrasive in the hopper
  • Prepare surfaces for the abrading action, protects specific areas of the work surface using masking film, tape, and rubber
  • Maintain equipment and work areas are clean and orderly and that any unsafe working conditions are corrected or reported immediately
  • Maintenance of the sandblasting equipment, such as cleaning and changing nozzles, hoses, guns, etc.
  • Keep track of part counts and complete shift logs daily
  • Ensure that SOPs are followed and corrected as necessary to maintain and improve machine efficiency
  • Other duties as assigned

HOURS
  • 2nd shift position
  • Monday through Thursday, 2:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
  • Friday - overtime as needed

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
