Fabrication Associate (Overnight Shift)
Location: Orlando, FL 32810
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Entry-Level Fabrication Associate to join our Sheet Metal Department on the Overnight Shift. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the HVAC manufacturing industry by operating specialized HVAC machinery and basic fabrication equipment during our high-production night hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn, be physically capable of handling a demanding night schedule, and be ready to support daily operations in a fast-paced shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Learn to operate specialized HVAC machinery and basic HVAC fabrication equipment under night-shift supervision.
  • Maintain high levels of focus and safety awareness during overnight hours to support the fabrication team.
  • Accurately measure materials using tape measures and other measuring tools.
  • Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including reaching, stretching, bending, and walking throughout the nightly routine.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and common fractions.
  • Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a consistent overnight schedule and remain alert throughout the shift.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow within the HVAC manufacturing industry.
  • Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities such as reaching, stretching, bending, and walking.
  • Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled shop environment with exposure to loud noise.
Work Environment & Shift Details
  • Shift: 4:30 pm- 3:00 am, Monday night through Friday morning.
  • Shift Differential: This position is eligible for an additional overnight pay premium.
  • Conditions: This position requires working in a shop environment that may be loud and is not climate-controlled. The role involves consistent physical activity and standing for long durations as part of the nightly routine.
