Join us as a Machine Welder Operator (Entry Level). This is a hands-on opportunity to learn pipe fabrication and welding using automated machinery while working alongside experienced team members. You’ll receive on-the-job training focused on quality, accuracy, and safety as you build valuable manufacturing skills. No prior welding experience required — we’ll train you! No Sundays are required!

This position is second shift, with availability required starting at 2:00 PM, working 12-hour shifts Monday through Thursday.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Learn to fabricate, weld, and thread pipe to customer specifications using automated equipment.
  • Support a positive customer experience by following instructions and quality standards.
  • Receive training on reading basic mechanical drawings and understanding machine settings.
  • Operate and monitor fabrication machines with guidance, reporting any defects or concerns.
  • Assist with setting stops or guides to proper lengths and checking measurements for accuracy.
  • Help prepare finished workpieces by removing burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale.
  • Participate in basic weld testing, simple repairs, and routine equipment upkeep as trained.
  • Bundle and move materials to designated areas following safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with OSHA standards.
    • Demonstrate dependable attendance, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to safe work practices.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months of warehouse experience preferred, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Effective communication, teamwork, and sound judgment under pressure.
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Proficient with computers; experience with Eclipse software is a plus.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Must be able to pass a powered industrial equipment operator exam (e.g., forklift certification).
