Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.Position Details:

Nurses work 12-hour shifts 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am with rotational weekends.

Incentives:
•    New Grad $2,000 Sign On Bonus for nightshift only
•    1-2 years’ LPN experience Sign On Bonus $5,000 for nightshift only
•    3-4 years’ LPN experience Sign On Bonus $7,000 for nightshift only
•    5+ years’ LPN experience Sign On Bonus $10,000 for nightshift only

  • o    Tuition Reimbursement $2,000 per year
  • o    $30k in initial RN degree assistance

•    $3000 Relocation Assistance for full time only

Qualifications:
•    Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements within 90 days of graduation.
•    Experience: Can be new or experienced LPN
 Must be LPN-IV Certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
 Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Unit Information:

Surgical Trauma \"3A\" is a 33-bed unit, fast-paced med-surg telemetry unit which focuses on adult post- operative and trauma patients. Nurse patient ratios are: Days 5:1, Nights 6:1. On our unit we offer you the opportunity to develop excellent critical thinking skills as well as use a wide variety of clinical skills including:

  • Head-to-toe assessments
  • Reading and posting telemetry strips
  • IV insertions
  • Catheter, trach, and ostomy care
  • Wound care
  • Chest tubes
