Job description

Paulding Care Center is looking to hire reliable and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses,ย LPNย to join our team.

The ideal candidate would be a nurse that is looking to provide outstanding patient care and physical support for patients and residents. To do well in this role you should have your Practical Nursing license in Georgia.

Responsibilities:

  • Record a patientโ€™s medical history accurately
  • Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
  • Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
  • Monitor patientsโ€™ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
  • Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
  • Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
  • Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
  • Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
  • Communicate with patientsโ€™ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions

Qualifications:

  • LPN LICENSE IN THE STATE OF Georgia! or Compact license!
  • Successful completion of LPN license program is a must!
  • Long-Term/ Skilled Nursing Facility Experience
  • Familiarity with PCC
  • Compassionate and able to handle stress
  • Team Player!
