Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Ryder in Kenosha, Wisconsin

  • Hourly Pay:$27.19 per hour 
  • Certification Bonus of $100 for each New ASE Certification Obtained up to $700
  • Quarterly Bonus: Ryder Pays you up to $500 Every Quarter - Four Times Per Year
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday Weekends OFF

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic tools, required
  • One (1) year or more experience in transportation maintenance, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively, work shift work/weekend as required, perform all entry level tasks, and demonstrate mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge of and the ability to apply knowledge of computers
  • Some experience in transportation maintenance preferred
  • This position requires for you to drive Ryder vehicles. In order to become a Ryder employee you must:
    • Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
    • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
    • Pass a DOT physical
    • Pass a Ryder road test
    • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned
