Job description

Job Title: Entry Level Welder

Job Description

You will be working in a climate-controlled fabrication shop to complete a variety of metal fabrication on a variety of metal materials depending on the projects. Job duties may include: working from blueprints, MIG and TIG welding parts for customers, grinding welds, help with mechanical assembly and building frameworks. This is great opportunity for someone to start a career in an established fabrication shop and eventually become a certified welder with the company.

Shift: 1st and 2nd shifts available

Job Duties:

  • Work from blueprints and engineered drawings to complete work
  • MIG and TIG weld various materials
  • Grind and inspect finish welds
  • Assemble a variety of mechanical components for customers
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials

Requirements:

  • Previous welding or fabrication shop experience highly preferred (hobby experience will be considered)
  • Experience working from blueprints
  • Must be comfortable using tools

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
