Salary: $75,000-$85,000

We are actively recruiting for a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team! In this position you will be performing commissions and daily treasury functions; conducting financial and analytical studies, preparing and assisting in preparation of reconciliations and journal entries.


The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, may work from home 1 day a week as needed and approved by manager.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Calculate and process employee and partner commissions accurately and timely
  • Collaborate with the sales and HR departments to ensure commission structures align with company policies and objectives.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to commission payments.
  • Monitor daily cash flows and manage banking relationships to ensure sufficient liquidity.
  • Execute daily cash positioning and forecasting activities.
  • Conduct in-depth financial and analytical studies to support management decisions
  • Develop, analyze and report on key financial metrics and trends.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Prepare and assist in preparing monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Post journal entries related to commissions, treasury transactions, and other assigned areas.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and industry regulations.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's Degree (Required)

Experience: 2+ years of experience in corporate accounting.

Computer Skills:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (Required)
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Preferred)
