Job description

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to work closely with our IT team and customers across local and remote sites. This administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop practical, effective solutions to a range of technical challenges. This is an excellent opportunity to join a focused, dedicated, and employee-owned company.

The ideal candidate will: Provide high quality customer service in a timely manner. Think analytically and proactively identify and address potential issues before they arise. Follow supervisor guidance on methods and approaches while also designing proactive solutions to meet customer challenges.

Position Requirements: Active TS clearance, TS/SCI Preferred. U.S. Citizenship required

Advanced knowledge of Linux (RHEL and Rocky versions 8, 9, and 10) Current CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent). Minimum of 3 years of system administration experience. Preferred Qualifications: Privileged User access.

Red Hat Certified System Administrator (or higher). Current adjudicated polygraph. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (or higher).

Experience with AWS GovCloud. Docker containerization. Job Duties The Linux System Administrator will configure and maintain servers, operating systems, networks, and network file systems across internal engineering environments and customer systems.

Responsibilities include installing and upgrading operating systems, applications, and hardware; troubleshooting and supporting end users; managing user accounts and permissions; and performing security monitoring and testing.This role contributes to AWS GovCloud administration and supports internal isolated Linux networks. The Linux System Administrator will work alongside the existing system administration team to support enterprise services for both internally and in customer environments.
