Board Level Test Engineer - Day Shift Santa Clara, CA - onsite FTE/Full time Salary: Market Start: Immediate We are now open for entry level profiles, with strong expertise in Python and EE hardware . Please share BSEE/MSEE candidates preferred. Candidate must be open to attend 2 rounds of Python coding assessment. Key Responsibilities • Perform first-level hardware triage and troubleshooting for PCs and server platforms. • Design and implement diagnostic tools and scripts for early hardware validation and fault isolation. • Identify and resolve setup issues and test failures using structured troubleshooting methodologies. • Develop and maintain test automation using Shell and Python scripting. • Work with motherboards and GPU platforms in lab environments. • Work with systems connected by various networking protcols, including Ethernet, NVLink and Infiniband • Operate in Windows and Linux operating systems for test and debug tasks. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support diagnostics, validation, and smooth product transitions in the NPI cycle. Required Skills & Qualifications: • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. • Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell. • Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS environments. • Working knowledge of hardware protocols: Ethernet, Infiniband, PCIe, USB, HDMI, I2C, SPI. • Experience with CPUs and GPUs. • Proficient in using test equipment for diagnostics and validation. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. · Linux or scripting experience is a huge plus
