In healthcare facilities, such as ambulatory care centers and hospitals, clerical workers are responsible for maintaining the accuracy and security of confidential patient health records. They greet patients and manage paperwork such as patient history forms as well as admission and discharge documents including verification of insurances. Clerical work ensures that an office runs smoothly. High quality customer service results in high levels of patient satisfaction. Responsibilities also involve day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, relaying messages, sorting mail, filing, and data entry.

  • All positions are in hospitals and nursing homes. These facilities are open 24 hours/7 days each week.
  • General shift availability:
    • Days (7a-3p or 8a-4p)
    • Evenings (3p-11p or 4p-12a)
    • Nights (11p-7a or 12a-8a)
    • *Clerical positions are usually 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
  • Every other weekend is usually required for all positions.

COVID-19 vaccination is required.
