Job description

SUMMARY Incumbents are responsible for entry-level clerical library work. They are often the first face patrons see when they enter the library. They are responsible for making sure the patrons receive phenomenal customer service.

They familiarize the patrons with all the various library services, issue and renew library cards, place items on hold, process new library items, deliver curbside items and answer general phone calls. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED and one (1) year of customer service or clerical experience. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
