Custom Electrical Services | Iowa

Custom Electrical Services is not your average electrical contractor. Founded in 2005 right here in Iowa, we are locally owned, locally operated, and built on a reputation for quality work and strong relationships. We have grown into one of the fastest growing residential service companies in the state while maintaining a tight knit, family like atmosphere where people are valued and supported.

We are actively looking for driven, licensed electricians who want more than just a paycheck. If you want control over your income, variety in your work, and a company that actually rewards performance, keep reading.

We are hiring full-time and part-time Service Electricians.

  • You control your income through performance
  • Direct interaction with homeowners
  • Opportunity to build trust and close jobs on the spot
  • Strong earning upside compared to traditional hourly roles
  • Family like team culture with real support, not corporate layers

Pay Structure

We offer multiple pay options to match your goals:

  • Straight hourly
  • 100 percent piece rate
  • Most popular: Base pay plus commission

Base plus commission details:

  • Base: $28 to $35 per hour
  • Commission: 5 percent of monthly gross sales
  • Typical monthly commission: $1,250 to $6,500+

Top performers earn significantly more.

What We Are Looking For

  • Licensed electrician
  • Strong troubleshooting ability
  • Comfortable talking with homeowners and closing work
  • Self motivated and reliable
  • Wants to earn more than average and is willing to work for it

If you are tired of doing the same work every day and want a role where effort directly impacts your income, this is the opportunity.

Apply now and take control of your career.
