Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures
  • Conduct inspections and tests on materials, products, and processes
  • Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, defects, and areas for improvement
  • Lead or participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving for quality issues
  • Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, supply chain, etc.) to resolve quality concerns
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation (procedures, work instructions, reports)
  • Assist with internal and external audits (ISO, customer, regulatory)
  • Train staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices
  • Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Support supplier quality management and conduct supplier audits or inspections
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Address customer complaints related to product or service quality

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related science degree
  • Familiarity and experience with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001)
  • Certifications (e.g. Six Sigma or ASQ) preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience and proficiency with statistical process control and data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Minitab, Excel)
  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram)
  • Familiarity with corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes
  • Data analysis and reporting (Excel, Minitab, or similar tools)
  • Technical writing (procedures, work instructions, reports)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Communication and interpersonal skills (working with cross-functional teams)
