We are currently looking for a Lead Material Handler.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Complies with established safety policies and procedures and other regulations as applicable.
Provide training to new employees.
Oversee team members to ensure safe operations of PIT.
Communicate issues and problems to Manager that cannot be resolved immediately.
Prioritize material handler tasks based on operational needs.
Processes material requests/returns.
Scans movements.
Pulls/stores material by operating a narrow aisle truck (swing reach/turret stock picker).
Transports material by operating a forklift.
Conducts inventory.
Cleans and ensures the department is maintained in an orderly fashion.
Performs other related duties assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Required:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Basic computer skills. Experience with web-based software and ERP systems required.
Ability to read, write and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate and interpret instructions.
Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.

Hourly Rate: $19.00
