Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Clinician to join our community-based team in Spokane. This role is open to both
fully licensed clinicians (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) and
associate-level professionals (LSWAIC, LMHCA, LMFTA) working toward independent licensure.
This position goes beyond the traditional office setting-providing care in shelters, supportive housing, and community environments where your work has immediate, meaningful impact. Whether you're building toward licensure or bringing advanced clinical experience, you'll be supported in a collaborative, mission-driven setting.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices
- Complete intakes, biopsychosocial assessments, and treatment planning
- Deliver services in shelters, supportive housing, and medical respite settings
- Provide crisis intervention and conduct risk assessments in dynamic environments
- Support clients in developing coping skills, stability, and independence
- Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups
- Collaborate with case managers, medical providers, and community partners
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Travel locally within the Spokane area to meet clients where they are
- Associate clinicians: Actively participate in clinical supervision and licensure progress
- Licensed clinicians: Provide independent clinical services and contribute clinical expertise to the team

Requirements
Required (All Applicants)
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Ability to obtain or maintain a Washington State credential
- Ability to obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential within 30 days of hire
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Licensed Clinicians (Preferred)
- Active Washington State license (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT)
- Ability to practice independently
- Experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, or community-based services
Associate Clinicians (Welcomed)
- Active Washington State associate license (LSWAIC, LMHCA, LMFTA)
- Eligible for and committed to clinical supervision
- Motivation to complete licensure requirements

Work Environment
This is a community-based behavioral health role in Spokane. Services are delivered in shelters, low-barrier housing programs, and medical respite settings. Clinicians regularly work with individuals experiencing behavioral health crises, active substance use, and complex barriers to stability.
Compensation & Benefits
- Fully Licensed: $34.09/hour and Associate Licensed: $32.95
- 8 paid holidays plus up to 5 floating holidays
