Dewberry is currently seeking an Entry Level Landscape Architect to join our landscape architecture department in our Raleigh, NC office. Our studio is highly collaborative and operates in a multidisciplinary environment to execute comprehensive projects across the United States. Our projects span multiple market segments such as Resiliency, Parks and Recreation, Greenways, K-12, and Corporate Campus Design. Our team is frequently responsible for all aspects of site design including: grading, drainage, planting plans, amenity plans (hardscape + landscape), custom detailing, rendering and permitting. Responsibilities
  • Supporting Project Managers and Deputy Project Managers on a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
    • Grading and Drainage Design
    • Site Design and Amenity Design
    • Planting Plans
    • Lighting Plans
    • Greenway Design
    • Construction Documents
    • Renderings
    • Project Manual Development
    • Erosion control plans and reports
    • Site Feasibility Studies
    • Estimates of Probable Cost
    • Construction Administration Visits and Reports
  • Collaborate with other staff members to develop design solutions.
  • Assist with research efforts and career fairs

Required Skills & Required Experience
  • BS/BLA Degree in Landscape Architecture is required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred), Land F/X, and Microsoft office is required.
  • Experience with Photoshop, Adobe Suite, Sketchup, Rhino, D5 Render, and GIS/ArcView.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to self check work.
  • Proactive thinking skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills.
  • Previous internship experience.
