Job description

Well Established Landscaping Company is seeking able bodied team member to help with Commercial Landscaping of shopping centers, warehouses, apartments, office buildings, municipal parks, ballfields, and restaurants.
********************The Foreman position will be a working-supervisory position, wherein the Crew Foreman will perform landscaping duties, direct subordinate work activities, and manage all resources required to perform the assignment(s). He/She will operate a wide variety of industry-specific equipment such as trucks, skid-loaders, tractors, blowers, tillers, spray equipment and other similar tools.
The ideal candidate for this position will have at minimum of two years of Landscape Foreman experience, a current and unrestricted driver's license, the physical stamina required to perform all aspects of this job, and a willingness to lead a team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic. In addition, the candidate will maintain a clean and professional image, provide exemplary leadership, and will deliver no less than outstanding customer service at all times.
The following is a representative list of duties and responsibilities associated with this position:
Leads the Landscaping Crew by providing training, guidance, and responsible oversight with respect to safety
Performs duties such as planting, mulching, sodding, seeding, and some irrigation work.
Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to trucks, trailers, skid-loaders, tractors, etc.
Maintains and promotes a clean and safe work environment, including work site, equipment, and vehicle(s)
Addresses clients' questions, comments, and concerns to ensure a high level of client satisfaction
Ensures equipment maintenance and repair is performed on a routine basis
Performs other duties as required
Requirements:
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Two years experience in a related field is required
Supervisory experience highly desired
Current and unrestricted driver's license
Willingness to work overtime
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature
Job setting is an outdoor/external environment with exposure to the elements
