Job description

Founded in Los Angeles in 2017, 412 Motorsport operates as a high-end performance and service facility specializing in modern sports cars, supercars, and luxury vehicles, with an emphasis on Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, Brabus, and other high-performance European vehicles. Our work ranges from dealership-level maintenance and advanced diagnostics to major mechanical repairs, performance upgrades, and complete vehicle builds.

We are currently looking for an experienced Exotic Automotive Technician who is comfortable working independently on high-value vehicles and taking ownership of complex work. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with the diagnostic ability, mechanical experience, and attention to detail required to diagnose, repair, modify, disassemble, and reassemble these vehicles.

Core Responsibilities:

  • ⁠ ⁠Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance issues on exotic and high-performance vehicles.
  • ⁠ ⁠Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, major mechanical repairs, and general service.
  • ⁠ ⁠Diagnose and repair engine, cooling, electrical, suspension, steering, and braking systems.
  • ⁠ ⁠Read and interpret wiring diagrams, factory service information, and technical documentation.
  • ⁠ ⁠Use professional diagnostic equipment and software to identify and troubleshoot faults.
  • ⁠ ⁠Perform extensive disassembly and reassembly for repairs, modifications, and complete vehicle builds.
  • ⁠ ⁠Install performance components including exhaust systems, suspension, wheels, body kits, carbon-fiber components, and aero.
  • ⁠ ⁠Perform Brabus and other high-end aftermarket and performance builds with proper fitment, functionality, and finish.
  • ⁠ ⁠Follow torque specifications, factory procedures, and manufacturer service information.
  • ⁠ ⁠Road-test vehicles and perform final fitment and quality-control inspections.
  • ⁠ ⁠Organize hardware and components during complex jobs and protect vehicles throughout the process.
  • ⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate documentation and a clean, organized work area.

We Are Looking For:

  • ⁠ ⁠Professional automotive technician experience, required.
  • ⁠ ⁠Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting ability.
  • ⁠ ⁠Hands-on experience with exotic or high-performance European vehicles, strongly preferred.
  • ⁠ ⁠Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-AMG, or equivalent experience, highly desirable.
  • ⁠ ⁠Experience with Brabus, Mansory, Novitec, or other high-end aftermarket and performance builds, preferred.
  • ⁠ ⁠Experience with extensive disassembly and reassembly, performance modifications, and major mechanical repairs.
  • ⁠ ⁠Comfortable reading wiring diagrams, factory procedures, and technical service information.
  • ⁠ ⁠Experience with professional diagnostic equipment and software.
  • ⁠ ⁠Ability to independently diagnose and complete work without sacrificing quality.
  • ⁠ ⁠Strong attention to detail, organization, and pride in workmanship.
  • ⁠ ⁠Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • ⁠ ⁠ASE or manufacturer certifications preferred, not required, for an otherwise highly qualified candidate.
