Job description

Title: Production Mechanic Line Setter (Entry Level)
Reports to: Mechanic Manager
Department: Operations - Production Management
Responsibility Summary: We are looking for hands-on, mechanically inclined individuals to join our production
team as Production Mechanic Line Setter. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, quick learners and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: The Production Mechanic Line Setter is responsible for supporting the department through a variety of tasks including:
  • Set up and adjust filling, labeling, and packing equipment according to product specifications.
  • Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and repairs during production runs.
  • Assist with line changeovers, ensuring minimal downtime and accurate configuration.
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure equipment is running smoothly and safely.
  • Collaborate with operators and supervisors to resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and workstations.
  • Document setup parameters and maintenance activities as required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a production or mechanical role preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to read and follow setup instructions, diagrams, or SOPs.
