Purpose of the Job
We are seeking a motivated Junior IT Support Technician to provide first-line technical support for end users across Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac environments. The successful candidate will assist with device deployment, user account administration, endpoint management, and troubleshooting using Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft InTune, and JAMF. This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of IT support experience looking to develop their skills in a modern cloud-managed environment. Reporting directly to the IT Manager Americas, and working alongside team members based in Chicago, IL.
This role will be required to be in office 5 days per week in our downtown Chicago Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line technical support for Windows and macOS devices.
  • Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows PCs, Apple Mac, and mobile devices.
  • Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Enroll, configure, and manage endpoints using Microsoft InTune.
  • Install, configure, and support Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, printers, and connectivity issues.
  • Perform software installations, updates, and security patching.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including device provisioning and account setup.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, procedures, and asset inventory.
  • Procure hardware through approved suppliers and assist with software licenses.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff and other teams when required.
  • Deliver excellent service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Undertaking other duties not specifically stated which from time to time are necessary without altering the nature or level of responsibility.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an IT Helpdesk or Desktop Support role.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows 11, Apple macOS, mobile devices (both iOS and Android).
  • Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft InTune.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • MS Certification preferred

For Illinois based applicants: The US base salary range for this position is $45,000 to $52,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, education, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives in addition to base salary.
