RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST
  • Monitor and maintain network connectivity across corporate, distribution, and retail locations while troubleshooting outages and performance issues
  • Implement proactive monitoring schedules and respond to network/connectivity tickets according to internal SLAs
  • Collaborate with security and IT teams to apply patches, monitor firewalls, and audit network configurations for vulnerabilities
  • Document network devices, configurations, topologies, and maintain comprehensive asset inventory
  • Support day-to-day end user technical issues as an active member of the IT support team
  • Assist with planning network upgrades, hardware replacements, and configuration improvements
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST
  • Associate degree in a technical field such as infrastructure or networking
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in network analyst, administrator, or support roles
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining network infrastructure including access points, switches, routers, and firewalls (Cisco Meraki experience is a plus)
  • CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar certifications preferred
  • Available to work on-site daily in the Southern Wisconsin area
