Job Overview

The IT Security Analyst supports AltaMed's Security Operations by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events, service requests, and identity-related activities across the organization's technological environment. This role serves as an escalation point from the IT Helpdesk for security and access-related issues, supports Identity and Access Management (IAM) onboarding and offboarding processes, collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve security-related issues, and assists with audits and compliance activities. The IT Security Analyst operates in a regulated healthcare environment and supports IT Security Administrators and Security Engineers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 2+ years of experience in IT security, SOC, IT operations, systems administration, or helpdesk escalation roles.

  • Preferred Certifications: Security+, CySA+, Microsoft SC-200, or equivalent security certifications

Compensation

$88,391.68 - $110,489.60 annually
