One Certification required:

  • Security+, CISM, CISSP, GIAC certifications

SCOPE OF SERVICES – Project Manager (Cyber Command) :- 

The Cyber Command seeks a seasoned Project Manager to support leadership in managing and optimizing its portfolio of established citywide cybersecurity programs and an evolving suite of cybersecurity control deployments. These initiatives involve significant complexity and coordination across multiple City agencies, external stakeholders, government cybersecurity partners, private-sector entities, and information-sharing organizations.

The Project Manager will collaborate directly with Security Sciences program managers, full-time staff, consultants, and vendors. The role requires cross-functional coordination with legal, contracting, finance, and communications teams to support opportunity screening, development of RFIs and RFPs, benefit/cost analysis, vendor selection, work plan scheduling, budget oversight, contractor management, issue resolution, reporting, and project closeout activities.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES :-

  • Translate leadership’s strategic vision into actionable implementation plans.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting Organizational Objectives.
  • Lead daily project meetings following Security Sciences’ established policies.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage Proof-of-Concept (PoC) trials for new cybersecurity technologies—either as part of existing efforts or as standalone projects.
  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments and cost-benefit analyses to proactively identify and resolve project-impacting issues.
  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end delivery of services or products to internal and external customers.
  • Provide weekly project status reports, metrics, and updates to key stakeholders.
  • Liaise with internal teams to track project milestones, dependencies, and completion.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, vendors, and stakeholders.

MANDATORY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :-
(Candidates lacking the following experience will not be considered.)

  • Minimum 12 years of experience managing technical projects.
  • At least 1 year of agile development project management experience.
  • At least 1 year managing DMARC implementation projects or programs.
  • At least 1 year managing enterprise-level email security projects/programs.
  • At least 1 year managing projects in network intelligence and network security monitoring.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, Business Administration, or related fields (or significant coursework in these areas).
  • Prior experience working with local, state, or federal government organizations.
  • Experience using Jira, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or other modern project management tools to manage technical projects.

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :-

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Industry-recognized project management certifications such as:
