Job description

Barcel USA is looking for an IT Project Supervisor to join our growing project management team. The candidate must have professional experience in project management and business administration. This position will supervise IT Support, Data, and Technology projects by ensuring tasks, timelines, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined, tracked, and completed as planned. Responsible for facilitating project progress (40%), tracking (40%) and documentation (20%).

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, risk logs, issue trackers, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate project resources, including IT team members, business stakeholders, project partners, third-party vendors, and contractors.
• Consistent follow-up and engagement with project members to drive progress and minimize delays against established timelines; maximize engagement.
• Collaborate closely with the IT Admin and Accounting team to accurately capture project expenses and report actual costs against the approved project budget.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, delays, budget concerns, resource constraints, and dependencies.
• Facilitate project meetings, provide updates to leadership, and communicate project status, decisions, and action items to stakeholders.
• Ensure project work aligns with IT standards, governance frameworks, compliance expectations, and operational best practices.
• Assist with vendor coordination, including quote reviews, scheduling, service delivery follow-up, and issue resolution.
• Review completed project work for quality, accuracy, documentation, and readiness for hand-off to support, end user or operations teams.
• Coach and guide project team members, helping remove obstacles and promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support departmental and business objectives.

• 2 Year College/University Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or equivalent training.
• Comprehension of Predictive and Adaptive Project Management Methodologies & Theories.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, assign tasks, follow up on commitments, and drive accountability.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to support business needs while maintaining IT standards.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation, reporting, and process adherence.
• Ability to work independently, escalate issues appropriately, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Working Knowledge of Monday.com or Project Management Tools
• Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or multi-site business environments.
• Bilingual communication skills may be beneficial depending on business needs.
