Position Summaryย 

We are looking for a highly organized and motivatedย IT Projectย Coordinatorย to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely withย the ITย Project Managers and cross-functional IT teams to help plan, execute, and deliver technology projects on time and within scope. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging professional to gain hands-on experience in IT project lifecycle management, agile methodologies, and team coordination.ย 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination:ย Work with IT Project Managers andย assistย in the planning and execution of IT projects, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and system integrations.ย 

  • Meeting Management:ย Schedule andย facilitateย and/orย assistย withย project meetings,ย capture detailed meeting minutes, and distribute action items.ย 

  • Documentation:ย Create,ย maintain, and update project documentation, including project charters, schedules, status reports, and process flows.ย 

  • Task Tracking:ย Monitorย project progress using project management tools (e.g.,ย Azure DevOps, MSย Project/Planner,ย Jira) and ensure team members are updating their task statuses.ย 

  • Communication:ย Act as a liaison between theย ITย team and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project updates, risks, and roadblocks.ย 

  • Risk Management:ย Assistย inย identifyingย potential project risks and bottlenecks and help escalate them to senior leadership when necessary.ย 

  • Quality Assurance:ย Support basic testing and QA efforts to ensure project deliverables meet the agreed-upon requirements.ย 

  • Other Responsibilities:ย Performย additionalย duties as assignedย 

Required Education, Experience, and Skills
  • Education:ย Bachelor's degree inย information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).ย 

  • Experience:ย 1+ย years of experience in an IT, project coordination, or administrative role.ย 

  • Methodology Knowledge:ย Basic understanding ofย project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).ย 

  • Technical Literacy:ย Comfortable discussing technical concepts with softwareย developers, system administrators, and non-technical stakeholders.ย Familiarityย withย Office 365 and Microsoft Office software applications, including Excel, Word,ย PowerPointย and Outlook.ย 

  • Soft Skills:ย Exceptional organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and anย ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.ย 

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
  • Experience using project management software (e.g.,ย Azure DevOps, MS Project/Planner,ย Jira,ย Smartsheet).ย 

  • Entry-level certifications such as Certified associate in project management (CAPM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or ITIL Foundations.ย 

  • Familiarity with data analysis or basic reporting tools (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets pivot tables).ย
