Job description

The Associate Infrastructure Analyst is an entry level role responsible for assisting with LAN / WAN and help desk administration activities, including network maintenance, technical guidance, and security in coordination with the Technology Infrastructure team. The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process and analyze data.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the execution of Technology Infrastructure delivery activities and apply basic technical knowledge to provide user-support for applications, software, hardware and network issues
  • Assist in performing basic diagnostic work to recognize, track, and report on problems, escalating when necessary
  • Resolve simple, routine problems and partner with proper parties to resolve more complex problems
  • Use Citi's risk management and control methods (risk, self-assessment, COB, audit, etc.) to conduct periodic reviews of activities and ensure work is compliant with risk objectives
  • Use precedence, best-practices and established disciplinary knowledge to assist in making and implementing decisions
  • Grasp internal stakeholder requirements, expectations and effectively resolve problems
  • Research and interpret factual information and identify inconsistencies in data or results
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • General knowledge of infrastructure technologies and standards within specialty area(s)
  • Detail oriented and self-directed
  • Ability to work in virtual / in-person teams and work under pressure or to a deadline
