Job Summary

We are searching for an entry level Parts Department Assistant for Power Chevrolet in Sublimity, OR. Our Parts Department is very busy and we need talented people to sell automotive parts, via phone, email and personal interaction. Customer service is our main priority, so you must be polished and professional at all times.

Duties:

  • Order, receive, and bill all parts
  • Maintain proper storage of parts
  • Take inventory and stock shelves
  • Assist retail customers, wholesale accounts and technicians
  • Assist with parts inventory management through bin counts and record keeping
  • Keep department and work area orderly, neat, and clean
  • Maintain a superior level of customer service
  • Other duties as directed by management

Qualifications:

  • Must be a customer-oriented, self-motivated team player
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Computer proficient
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean, insurable, driving record
  • Experience operating a forklift is preferred
  • Pre-employment background check, including drug screening
