Job description

Experienced Dental Front Office Coordinator Needed (Temporary Maternity Leave Coverage)

We're looking for an experienced front office professional to join our private, one-doctor practice while our Scheduling Coordinator is on maternity leave. The position will likely begin at the beginning of October and is anticipated to last at least three months, with the possibility of extending.

???? Private, fee-for-service, out-of-network practice (Delta Dental Premier provider)

????‍⚕️ One doctor | One hygienist on Mondays | Two hygienists on Tuesdays & Wednesdays

????$28–$33/hour, depending on experience

Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

• Tuesday: 7:00AM–4:30 PM

• Wednesday: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM

This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone who can step in with minimal training.

Requirements:

• Expert-level proficiency with Eaglesoft

• Experienced using VYNE and Mango

• Articulate, professional, with outstanding communication skills

• Genuinely enjoys building relationships with patients and creating an exceptional patient experience

• Extensive experience posting insurance payments and interpreting EOBs

• Confident discussing treatment recommendations, financial arrangements, and collecting patient payments

• Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to assist hygienists during new patient hygiene appointments and record periodontal charting in Eaglesoft

• Experienced sending referrals electronically through specialist referral portals

• Organized, dependable, proactive, and able to anticipate the next step without direction

• Loves dogs! We have two friendly Golden Retrievers who are part of our office family.

Our practice has established financial policies, including collecting payment in full at the time of service, regardless of insurance for all major treatment and collecting at least 50% at the time of service for basic treatment.
