Job description

SEMI is excited to open a second position for a Standards Project Coordinator. Are you a new graduate looking for an entry-level opportunity to learn a great deal in the Semiconductor industry? This position is full time and includes a competitive full benefit package, generous vacation and an annual paid winter holiday break.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for providing procedural guidance and coordination support for the development of international standards for semiconductor manufacturing and related markets. The role supports the work progress of standards committees consisting of industry representatives in all communications involved in the standards development process.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and be able to manage activity with a high level of technical detail. The position is customer facing, and requires an individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, and a desire to provide world-class customer service. A technical background is helpful but not required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Coordinate and manage activities across SEMI Standards Committees to develop and publish standards. Plan and organize meetings, document and distribute minutes, format technical ballots, manage action items, communicate status and updates. Manage the Standards development process per the SEMI Standards Regulations and ensure process compliance.

? Create and maintenance of communications and records associated with assigned areas of responsibility, including, but not limited to, writing and disseminating minutes of standards meetings, formatting technical ballots, developing meeting agendas, liaison reports, and periodic standard summaries. Ensure that regional counterparts are informed on committee activity in region of responsibility.

? Develop webinars, workshops and presentation materials to improve industry awareness of SEMI Standards.

? Assess industry for Standards engagement opportunities.

? Provide technical sales support to sales and marketing personnel.

? Interface with customers to seek feedback and identify opportunities for improvement

? Identify and implement continuous improvement measures to increase the effectiveness of Standards business processes
