Relocation Sales Consultant | Business Development & Client Success

ILS Relocation is seeking an ambitious and customer-focused Relocation Sales Consultant to help grow our residential and commercial moving business throughout the Louisville market.

This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, identifying customer needs, and guiding clients through important life and business transitions. You'll work with prospective customers from initial inquiry through signed agreement, helping them select relocation solutions that best fit their needs while contributing to the company's continued growth.

As a Relocation Sales Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers while helping expand our market presence and generate new business opportunities.

Your ability to build relationships, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and convert opportunities into booked business will directly contribute to revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Development

  • Conduct in-home, virtual, and phone consultations with prospective customers
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate relocation solutions
  • Prepare accurate estimates and customized service proposals
  • Follow up on leads and sales opportunities in a timely and professional manner
  • Guide customers through the sales process from initial contact through booking


Business Development & Relationship Building

  • Develop relationships with real estate professionals, property managers, apartment communities, senior living organizations, and local businesses
  • Participate in networking events, community activities, and business development opportunities
  • Generate referral and repeat business through exceptional customer service and relationship management
  • Represent the company professionally within the local market
  • Identify opportunities to expand market presence and increase brand awareness


Pipeline Management & Customer Experience

  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline and consistently manage follow-up activities
  • Document customer interactions, estimates, and sales activity within CRM systems
  • Coordinate with Operations to ensure customer expectations are communicated effectively
  • Provide outstanding customer service throughout the relocation process
  • Maintain strong communication with customers from inquiry through move completion


Performance & Growth

  • Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance expectations
  • Consistently pursue new business opportunities and referral sources
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism
  • Contribute ideas and strategies that support company growth and market expansion
  • Continuously improve sales effectiveness and industry knowledge


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing experience required
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused approach
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales management tools preferred
  • Moving, relocation, transportation, logistics, real estate, or service-industry experience is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
