The Opportunity
As a Financial Services Tax - Real Estate and Infrastructure Transactions Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on their local and international tax affairs, acting as a strategic consultant in business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. Within our Tax practice, you will help clients navigate the complex national and international tax environment, addressing operational tax risks and structuring tax strategies for investments across various jurisdictions.
As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will focus on building meaningful client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions while embracing increased ambiguity. In this role, you will guide and mentor others, uphold professional standards, and use critical thinking to break down complex concepts, all while growing your personal brand and technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Advising clients on local and international tax affairs to optimize business strategies
- Managing tax compliance processes and preparing tax documents for financial services clients
- Analyzing financial statements and monitoring financial trends to provide strategic tax planning
- Drafting and reviewing tax documents to validate accuracy and relevance
- Utilizing analytical thinking to solve complex tax-related business issues
- Conducting tax research and providing insights on regulatory compliance and submissions
- Collaborating with teams to embrace change and enhance tax service delivery
- Building quality relationships with clients through straightforward communication and active listening
- Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct in all client interactions
- Leveraging industry tax practices to address operational tax risks and capital requirements
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment (Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity).

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
